For recruiting Indian men and women candidates as commissioned officers in flying, technical and ground duty branches, the Indian Air Force conducts the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT).This book has been designed for the candidates preparing for AFCAT conducted by the Indian Air Force.

The Numerical Ability section covers Number System, Decimal Function, Simplification, HCF, LCM, Square, Square Root, Cube and Cube Root, Indices, Surds, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Profit, Loss, Simple, Compound Interests, Time, Distance, Statistics, Mensuration, Algebra, Trigonometry and Geometry. The Reasoning and Military Aptitude section covers verbal as non-verbal skills covering spatial reasoning and logical reasoning. Ample number of solved problems have been provided at the end of each chapter. The solved problems have been designed on the lines of questions asked in previous years, AFCAT. Solved questions will ensure effective comprehension of the concepts covered under the syllabi of the common admission test. Also unsolved practice exercises have been provided at the end of each chapter to help aspirants practice as well as self-analyse their level of preparation for the upcoming examination. The book also contains AFCAT 2016 Solved Paper II and 2017 Solved Paper I which will help aspirants get an exact idea of the types of questions asked in the examination.
